2025 Phase II Winners

On Thursday, October 23, the Trinity Health Foundation of East Tennessee awarded $1 million in grants to 10 nonprofit organizations. These grants result from a year-long effort to stimulate projects aligned with Trinity’s mission to improve the physical, emotional, and spiritual health of East Tennessee. From 87 proposals submitted in March, 12 large and 14 small Phase I grant recipients were chosen, receiving over $239,000 for project planning and research. After three months of further development, five large and five small grants of the Phase I recipients were selected to receive Phase II grant awards, announced on October 23. These awards emphasize the commitment of these organizations to address and remedy many of the challenges faced by the community.

2025 marks the twelfth year Trinity has awarded Health Initiative Grants, totaling more than $16 million, which target the health of our region. This year’s winning initiatives address specific needs across several categories that Trinity identified. The selected projects will address behavioral & mental health wellness and addiction, youth initiatives – mental health, addiction, and ACEs, access to care for vulnerable populations, and open topics. These proposals were selected based on the potential impact and sustainability demonstrated in written reports, in-person presentations, and site visits. Trinity is honored to help organizations that seek to make our community healthier and more robust. To learn more about this year’s winners, click 2025 Grant Recipients.
