Today, the Board of Directors of Trinity Health Foundation of East Tennessee announces the appointment of Lynn Metler as the President and Executive Director, effective January 1, 2025.
Lynn will begin her role as President and Executive Director after six years of service as the Foundation and Grants Coordinator. In her tenure, the Trinity Health Foundation has awarded approximately $7 million to 113 East Tennessee nonprofit organizations. Lynn was instrumental in implementing Trinity’s 2020 pivot from its traditional grant process to support local nonprofit organizations.
Lynn is a compassionate servant leader with exceptional organizational and leadership skills, contributing to the smooth operation of numerous professional environments. She played an integral role in ministry in the congregations and communities where she served for over twenty-five years as a pastor’s wife, church planter, and children’s curriculum director. Lynn’s faithful heart for the work of Trinity is evident in her enthusiasm and unwavering dedication to advancing its mission. She brings a unique blend of expertise and passion, enabling greater community impact through her thoughtful insights.
The Board of Directors warmly welcomes Lynn into her new role as President and Executive Director, recognizing her competence and enthusiasm to lead the Foundation. She has a deep commitment and heart for the mission of Trinity and will lead Trinity well into the future.
