The Good Samaritan Center’s (GSC) Stable Housing Program (SHP) demonstrably keeps families housed. However, sustained stability requires addressing critical underlying barriers: childcare access, reliable transportation, and unsafe, unhealthy living conditions that residents cannot afford to remedy. These longstanding challenges disproportionately impact our vulnerable population, leading to job loss and eviction. In collaboration with established community partners, GSC is poised to tackle these issues proactively.

Phase I will allow them to understand and analyze each of these challenges, research and explore potential options, and gather and collaborate to develop our implementation options.
