Penultimate Development seeks funding for the Penultimate Woodworks Entrepreneurship Initiative. Penultimate Woodworks is an income-based social entrepreneurship initiative created to introduce participants to woodworking and entrepreneurship and provide a pathway into the construction industry.

This new initiative offers numerous benefits to its participants by giving them the opportunity to create economic growth, promote sustainability, and empower them to become business owners. It provides purposeful employment and teaches them how to operate and grow a business. Over the last few years, the staff and program participants have generated over $25,000 in revenue building cutting boards, tables, and desks, furniture restoration, and contracted finished carpentry.

A meaningful job is essential, and an in-house social enterprise business closes the economic gap in the lives of underserved young men.
