Compassion Counseling

Your Worth, Beyond the Feed

Social media significantly influences youth self-perception, often leading to anxiety, low self-esteem, body dissatisfaction, and social isolation due to unrealistic comparisons. This issue is particularly concerning for youth with pre-existing trauma, as social media comparison can exacerbate emotional distress and mental health challenges. To address this, Compassion Counseling proposes a small-scale pilot initiative focused on promoting self-worth, emotional resilience, and digital well-being among youth.

This project aims to foster a healthier relationship with social media and improve mental well-being in the community by equipping youth with critical skills and resources.
