Mobile Medical Unit Prenatal Care
The desire to live in a community where every life is sacred, valued, and welcomed can be not only a desire we have but a reality by providing life-affirming and saving services to those who do not have access to brick-and-mortar locations by taking a Mobile Medical Unit to the community and providing pregnancy testing, limited ultrasound, and STI/STD testing. With a Mobile Medical Unit, the Pregnancy Resource Center can serve Loudon and Sevier Counties communities. In 2022, there was a 103% increase in STI testing from 2021. A mobile unit would take STI testing services, pregnancy testing, and ultrasounds to rural communities without access to testing or care. These services could also impact college campuses.
