Susannah's House

Healthy Living for Moms and Babies

Susannah’s House programs of recovery have been growing in capacity and impact for the past eight years. The dream has been to build affordable supportive housing on the property adjacent to Susannah’s House’s primary facility to provide a safe, stable, loving environment for low-income pregnant or postpartum mothers who need a recovery program for healing from Opioid Use Disorder. Phase I of Susannah’s Housing will be completed in the summer of 2022. The addition of housing creates programming needs for the specific population of pregnant/postpartum mothers and their newborns that will be in addition to the Intensive Outpatient Program of recovery available at Susannah’s House. It is necessary to develop a carefully designed educational services program for new mothers who will have a new life to support and care for while also recovering from Substance Use Disorder. This healthy living program will ensure that mothers have sobriety and sustainable life for themselves and their children.
