Biography
Wendy Wortham is originally from Harrodsburg, Kentucky. She attended the University of Kentucky and California College of Arts and Crafts in San Francisco. Wendy moved to Knoxville in 1994 via Houston, San Francisco, Honolulu, and Washington, D.C. Her husband, Dale, retired after a 20-year career as an interventional cardiologist in the Army and recently after 24 years at University Cardiology, U.T. Knoxville. Wendy currently serves on the advisory board for The UT College of Nursing and The Clarence Brown Theatre. Past board involvements include Catholic Charities of East Tennessee, The American Heart Association, Knoxville Opera, The Florence Crittenton Agency, and Leadership Knoxville. She and Dale have two sons. The eldest, Keller, is a physician and actor in Los Angeles. Their son, Taylor, a financial advisor with Patriot Investment Management, and his wife, Simonne, lives in Knoxville with their two grandchildren, SiSi and William.
